Dr. Kathryn Scanland

 

 

The president of Greystone, Kathryn is a strategic research and planning specialist.  She provides clients with forthright, fact-based knowledge regarding specific management and leadership challenges.  Her background includes leadership positions and consulting in higher education, publishing, manufacturing and service companies.  She has designed and analyzed national surveys, developed institutional assessment strategies, and initiated research and planning strategies to act as a catalyst for education and training programs spanning from colleges in the U.S. to Beirut, Lebanon. Kathryn recently co-authored the book, The Jobs Revolution: Changing How America Works, along with former Congressman, Steve Gunderson, and former Assistant Secretary of Labor, Bob Jones.  As a result, Kathryn has spoken to audiences ranging from the staff at McGraw-Hill Companies to the Western Governors' Association, on issues relating to education, workforce, and globalization.

 

Kathryn earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Greenville College, an M.B.A. with an emphasis in marketing research from Southern Illinois University, and a doctor of management in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix.
